New Maruti Celerio AMT Revealed in 360 Video
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the next-generation New Maruti Celerio hatchback in the market. The small hatchback is most likely to be launched in the market later this month and we’ll be driving this hatchback in the coming weeks. Maruti has now started bookings for this hatchback and the booking amount is Rs 11,000. The car has been spotted several times without any camouflage but, here we have a detailed walkaround video of the top-end AMT version of the upcoming Celerio hatchback.
The video has been uploaded by The Car Show on their YouTube channel. In this video vlogger shows how the hatchback looks on the outside and what all features does it offer on the inside. The exterior design of the hatchback is very different from the outgoing model. The car now looks a lot more modern and it is likely to offer more space on the inside as it is based on HEARTECT platform.
It has design which looks like a mix of Maruti 800 and Swift. The boxy shape has been replaced with smooth curves. As this is the top-end version, the hatchback gets gloss black alloy wheels which actually look good on the car. The rear gets newly designed tail lamp and there are parking sensors integrated with the reflectors on the bumper. Top-end variant also gets rear wiper, defogger and windscreen washer.
Moving in Celerio gets an all-new Cabin. The car has a basic looking door pad with all black them. There are bottle holders on the door the seats get height adjustment. The steering gets audio controls mounted on it and the instrument cluster has analog speedometer and digital tachometer and other information in it. The round design theme is seen at several places inside the cabin. The AC vents are round and so is the instrument cluster. The power window buttons for the front are placed on the center console and for the rear passengers they are behind the handbrake lever.
It gets a manual AC control and there is a decent looking touchscreen infotainment screen in the middle that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For a car of this segment, the all-new Celerio looks decent in terms of design and features. The car also offers features like dual airbags, ABS and EBD with the car. Celerio however does not offer a rear parking camera.
The AMT version of the hatchback that is seen in the video has a premium looking gear knob. It is different from what we have seen in any other Maruti car so far. Overall, the car looks decent both from outside and inside. Maruti has already claimed the Celerio is the most fuel efficient petrol car in India. The exact figure however is not known.
The car is expected to be offered with two engine options. There will be a 1.0 litre petrol and a 1.2 litre petrol engine option. Both engine options are expected to come with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. The 1.0 litre version might even come with company fitted CNG.
