New Mahindra XUV 700 – Amazing Features Expected

Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of the New Mahindra XUV 700. Mahindra is expecting it to have the same success that XUV 500 had. The manufacturer has started teasing the features of the SUV. Now, there is a new video that Mahindra has shared and it shows us the Driver’s Drowsiness feature. This safety feature will detect if the driver is feeling sleepy and will give him a nudge to wake him up.

There are also other features that Mahindra has teased till now. They have already teased smart door handles, Skyroof, personalized safety alerts and auto booster headlamps.

Smart door handles

The door handles of the XUV 700 will sit flush with the bodywork. It is still not known if they will be motorized or mechanical. The XUV 500 was also the first vehicle to come with vertical door handles that were inspired by Cheetah. The XUV 700 will be the most affordable SUV to use flush door handles.

Skyroof in XUV 700

Mahindra will offer a panoramic sunroof with the XUV 700. It will help in letting in a lot of light to the cabin making the cabin feel airy and spacious. Other SUVs in the segment also offer a panoramic SUV but Mahindra has fitted the largest in the segment panoramic sunroof to the XUV 700. The manufacturer is calling it Skyroof.

Personalized Safety alerts

The vehicles now come with a speed alert system that beeps at the driver when the speed crosses 80 kmph and it continuously beeps when the vehicle crosses 120 kmph. Mahindra has gone one step ahead and now you can configure your safety alerts in the voices of your loved ones. The theory here is that the driver would reduce the speed when he/she hears the voice of their loved ones who are saying to reduce the speed of the vehicle.

Auto booster headlamps in the XUV 700

Mahindra will be offering an auto high beam feature with the XUV 700. They are calling it Auto Booster headlamps. The vehicle switches on the additional lamps when the SUV crosses the 80 kmph mark. This helps in increasing the visibility for the driver and he can look further ahead.

Most powerful in the segment

The XUV 700 will be offered with two engine options. There will be a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine and a 2.0-litre mHawk diesel engine. The engines are expected to set a new benchmark in terms of refinement. They will also be the most powerful in the segment.
