New Mahindra Scorpio 2023 Interior

New Mahindra Scorpio 2023 Interior

For the last couple of years, Mahindra has been coming up with new products in the market and they are all doing extremely good as well. First it was the Mahindra Thar and then last year, they launched XUV700. Both SUVs received an overwhelming response from customers and have a long waiting period. Mahindra as we all know is now working on the next-generation Scorpio and the same have been spotted testing in several parts of the country many times. Mahindra is expected to launch the all-new Scorpio in the market later this year. Here we have a spy video of the New Mahindra Scorpio 2023 Interior.

The video has been uploaded by Praveen Rana vlogs on his YouTube channel. The test mule which is a closer looking version to the production model was spotted in the parking lot of the hotel where the vlogger was staying. While he was taking the walkaround video, he discovered that the tailgate on the Scorpio was not locked. He took a quick video of the interior and that is what is seen here in the video.

First that we noticed inside the cabin was that the third row seats are now front facing instead of side facing bench seats like in the current version. Another noticeable change here was the upholstery. The seats get a black and tan interior in the test version. We cannot be sure whether the production version will also get similar colour theme.

All three rows have adjustable headrests which is also a good thing. There is only a little space left in the boot with all three rows up. Surprisingly, if you notice, the third row seat is actually a single and not a split seat unit. A split seat could have offered more flexibility but, we assume Mahindra did not go for it to keep the costs low. The all-new Scorpio gets a completely redesigned dashboard. It looks a lot more premium than the current version.

There dashboard gets a massive touchscreen infotainment system in the centre with automatic climate control button below it. The buttons to control other settings of the vehicle is also seen on the centre. A navigation panel for the touchscreen infotainment system is placed next to the manual handbrake. it is similar to the unit seen in XUV700. The steering wheel on the Scorpio is also new and it gets a control for audio and the instrument cluster.

The instrument cluster on the upcoming Scorpio is not visible clearly but, we assume that it is going to be a digital unit. There is dedicated AC vent for second row passengers and the seat on the left hand side can be tumbled down to access third row. Mahindra will be offering Scorpio with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both petrol and diesel engine options will get a manual and automatic transmission option. The petrol version will be using a 2.0 litre turbocharged mStallion engine while the diesel version will get a 2.2 litre mHawk turbocharged unit. There is a possibility that Mahindra might offer 4×4 as an option with the top-end version just like XUV700.
