Punjabi Singer Mika Singh Hummer

Just like every year, Mumbai rains are leaving people stranded in cars. This time, a celebrity bollywood singer Mika Singh Hummer Floods and gets stuck in the middle of the road at night with Akansha Puri. Locals gathered to help Mika and restart his vehicle.

The incident happened in Mumbai when Mika and Akansha Puri were returning from a wedding in the Hummer H2 of Mika Singh. We are not sure what exactly happened to the Hummer but a video is going viral that shows Mika Singh and Akansha Puri inside the car and a massive crowd gathered around the vehicle.

The video, which has been put by an unknown person shows the stranded Mika Singh Hummer from the rear and the person says that the time is 3 AM and still the Mumbai people are out in the rain helping the stranded couple. The camera then shows Mika and Akansha Puri sitting inside the car too. Mika says that there are at least 200 people around and the crowd starts to cheer too.

Mika’s Hummer H2

Mika Singh is one of the few celebrities who own and drive around in a Hummer H2 in India. It is finished a sunset orange shade and Mika Singh drives around in this SUV a lot. It has been many years since Hummer discontinued the Hummer for civilian customers.

Primarily made for the US Army, the civilian versions of the Hummer also look like a tank. These vehicles are made to last for decades and are very capable. Mika Singh’s Hummer H2 gets powered by an L9H naturally-aspirated petrol engine.

It is a 6.2-litre V8 engine that generates a maximum power of 393 PS at 5,700 rpm and a peak torque of 415 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to all four wheels.

There are only a few celebrity Hummer owners in India. Popular cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni also own a Hummer H2. Even Sunil Shetty owns a Hummer H2. However, most of the celebrity owners do not drive around much in the Hummer anymore. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was one celebrity who used the Hummer H2 regularly but nowadays it rarely comes out of the garage.

Driving in rain

Mika Singh Hummer Floods with the monsoon season arriving in India, driving can become a challenge for many. Many Indian cities experience water-logged roads that can hydro lock vehicles and leave the occupants stranded. We are not sure what exactly happened with Mika’s car but driving in incandescent rains can cause electrical problems in old cars too. It is always a good idea to get a full car check-up before the rain arrives so that such problems do not come up during the driving.
