Hyundai has a solid line of upcoming cars in 2020. The first car that the brand will launch in the Indian market is the all-new Creta. While the range of upcoming cars includes the facelift Verna, Tucson and all-new Elite i20 this year. Hyundai has dropped the first official teaser images of the upcoming Verna that will be launched in the Indian market soon. Here are all the details that you want to know about leaked pics of 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift.
Hyundai Verna Details
The new Hyundai Verna facelift will be based on the same platform as the current version of the car. However, it will look much different from the car on sale and will get a slew of cosmetic and mechanical updates. The new Verna has a lot of resemblance with the Hyundai Solaris from Russian market. It looks quite different from the Chinese version, where the car name is Hyundai Accent.
The teaser images show the new grille of the upcoming Verna facelift. While, the sleek headlamps look like an extension of the grille. The headlamps get new DRLs and the picture reveals all-LED lamps in the interior. Even the rear of the vehicle has a fresh look. However, it looks much different with the new set of tail lamps and a new bumper. The side profile remains similar to the current version of the car but there are new alloy wheels and we can see a part of them in the teaser image.
Hyundai Verna 2020 Interior
The interior will be updated too but Hyundai is yet to reveal the cabin pictures.New Verna will get a dashboard similar to the Hyundai Venue. it will come with BlueLink connectivity feature that will allow the owners to track the vehicle in real-time and also control certain features of the vehicle. The car will get a fully digital instrument cluster, emergency stop signal, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, Arkamys premium sound system and more, as per Hyundai.
Hyundai Verna 2020 Engine
The biggest change in the upcoming Hyundai Verna is the engine options. As a result, the new sedan will come powered by three engine options. There will be a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and a high-performance 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with the new Verna. The three engine options will get three different automatic transmission options. The naturally aspirated petrol engine will get a CVT automatic while the diesel variants will come with a 6-speed automatic. The turbocharged petrol engine will get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 6-speed automatic transmission will be standard with all the three engine options. All three engine options are BS6 compliant. Hyundai will launch the car in April while the bookings are expected to open soon.
