Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal buys new Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Well known Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal has just bought a Mercedes Benz C-Class sedan. The delivery of the new luxurious vehicle was taken by Dhanashree Verma Chahal who is Yuzvendra’s wife. The pictures of the new C-Class was shared on Instagram by autohangar. The couple opted for Cavansite Blue colour shade. The price and the variant of the C-Class are not known as of now.
The C-Class sits between the A-Class Limousine and the E-Class. The pricing of the C-Class starts at Rs. 50 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 1.41 Crores ex-showroom. There are many variants to choose from. You can get the C-Class as a regular sedan, a cabriolet, a coupe and as a 63 AMG.
The Progressive variant is offered as a C 200 and C 220d. The C 200 is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 203 hp of max power and the C 220d is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 194 hp of max power. The top speed of both sedans is around 240 kmph. The diesel engine is a tad bit faster in hitting a ton with an acceleration time of 6.9 seconds whereas the petrol counterpart takes 7.7 seconds.
The C-Class Cabriolet is also powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine but it is more powerful than the Progressive variants. It produces 258 hp of max power and a peak torque output of 370 Nm. It can hit a ton in 6.2 seconds while the top speed is 250 kmph.
Then there is the C43 Coupe that is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine. It produces 390 hp of max power. It can hit 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds. The top of the line is the C63 AMG. It gets AMG’s 4.0-litre V8 that produces 476 hp of max power and has an acceleration time of 4 seconds. Both the performance variants have a top speed of 250 kmph.
Interior
Being a Mercedes-Benz the interior is wrapped in quality leather and there is open-pore walnut wood trim used for the dashboard, central console and door pads. The seats get electric adjustment, memory option and even massaging. There is an electric rear blind that can be operated by the driver. The rear occupants also get rear sunshades on the windows.
There is ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You also get a wireless charger and cruise control system for fatigue-free highway driving. Mercedes Benz also offers PRESAFE system, rear parking sensors with a rear camera and much more.
The sedan now uses LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps. The driver also gets a digital instrument cluster that is configurable. Mercedes-Benz now also offers connected car technology. Depending on the variant you opt for, you get a different grille and bumper design. So, the Progressive variant looks more elegant while the AMG variants get a more aggressive grille.
