Hyundai Alcazar Receives 11,000+ Bookings

Hyundai Alcazar

Hyundai has started the deliveries of their latest SUV, the Alcazar. The Hyundai Alcazar is priced a bit higher than its competitors but that is not stopping the sales. Hyundai has reported that they have already received 11,000 bookings for the Alcazar. They have sold over 5,600 units since the launch that happened on 18th June. Diesel is still a more popular choice among buyers as 63 percent of the bookings are for diesel engines. One third of customers have opted for the top-end Signature variant.

The Alcazar starts at Rs. 16.30 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 20.14 lakhs ex-showroom. At first, the Alcazar might seem a bit expensive but that is because there is no “base” variant. So, even the lower-spec Prestige variant comes equipped with a lot of equipment. After Prestige, there is Platinum as the mid-spec variant while the top-end variant is the Signature.

“Hyundai ALCAZAR has received an overwhelming response from customers with over 11 000 Bookings received in less than a month since its launch. This superlative response showcases our customer’s affinity towards a high value, versatile and premium package that Hyundai ALCAZAR epitomizes perfectly. We are truly humbled and grateful to our customers who have chosen to live the Grand life with the Hyundai ALCAZAR. So far we have already sold over 5 600 units of Hyundai ALCAZAR in the market and with the addition of this 6 & 7 Seater SUV to our line up, we are now offering our valued Indian Customers a stellar range of multiple SUVs which will help us to further fortify our SUV leadership in India.” said Mr Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd.
