40 Kia Carens MPVs Delivered in a single day [Video]
Vihaan Kia, an authorized dealer outlet for Kia Motors India in Hyderabad, created a milestone by delivering 40 units of Kia Carens in a single day. The deliveries of all the 40 units were organized as a part of a special ceremony. This ceremony took place at the premises of the service workshop and Bodyshop of Vihaan Kia in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, which is spread over 3 acres of area.

The delivery ceremony of 40 units of Kia Carens started with a presentation ceremony, in which the keys of all the 40 units were handed to their respective owners by representatives of four prominent NGOs of Hyderabad. The four NGOs called up for the event were Amma Nanna Anaada Ashramam, Samtrupthi Trust, Surge Impact Foundation and Kriyasangh Society. All the owners of the respective units of Kia Carens were felicitated with a shawl while they were handed the keys.
After the key-handing ceremony got over, the representatives of all the four NGOs were felicitated and given donations as a part of CSR donations by the company. As a part of this ceremony, Vihaan Kia donated Rs 5 lakh to Amma Nanna Anaada Ashramam, Rs 2 lakh to Samtrupthi Trust, Rs 2 lakh to Kriyasangh Society and Rs 1 lakh to Surge Impact Foundation. The donation cheques were given to the representatives of the NGOs on the stage.
Speaking on the occasion of the event, Mr Suneel Vadlamudi, Managing Director, Vihaan Kia, said that instead of calling celebrities for the occasion, they invited the representatives of the four NGOs to make the ceremony more heart-warming and special.
Through this ceremony, he wanted to felicitate the NGOs for their silent contribution to society and making it a better place to live. He claimed that even all the 40 customers of Kia Carens appreciated Vihaan Kia for this novel gesture.
Different variants delivered
All the 40 units of Kia Carens delivered in this ceremony were a mix of all the variants in which the three-row vehicle is available in India – Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. All the customers did their pre-delivery inspection and welcoming ceremonies at the venue of the event itself, post which they drove their vehicles out of the venue.
The Kia Carens is available in India with three powertrain options – 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. All these engine options come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. While the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine is also available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, the 1.5-litre diesel is offered with an additional option of a 6-speed torque converter too.
